A vital part of any community is a park system that welcomes area residents for relaxation, activities and enjoyment. PenMet Parks has been instrumental in providing, improving and expanding these services to Gig Harbor and, through a partnership with Key Pen Parks, the Key Peninsula. PenMet Parks now owns over 600 acres of land that are currently, or in the planning stages, for community services and use. From a meager beginning of seven parks they have successfully acquired additional properties to now total twenty-one owned parks for community enjoyment.
