Great Times at Blend Wine Shop

A neighbor and friend recently treated my wife and I to an evening at Blend Wine Shop located at 8014 Key Peninsula Highway N. in Key Center on the Beautiful Key Peninsula.  Our hopes for a pleasing and entertaining evening came true; this was a very enjoyable and memorable “No Snob Zone” experience.  We first met the friendly owners, Jeff and Dayle Minch, who quickly made us feel welcome and at home in their cozy but stylish wine shop.  We began the evening by browsing through the well-stocked wine racks slowly making our way to the tasting bar. This evening they had a guest vintner pouring tasty samples of the five varieties of the evening, presenting background information of each, and pleasantly answering a myriad of questions about many different wines and wineries.  As we finished the samples, we ordered a glass of our favorites and found a table where we could enjoy a fine wine and a slice of aged cheese; a great combo.   To our added delight, Jeff and Dayle had made arrangements with The Gourmet Burger Shop (Yum!) and employed their daughter to make ‘Pick-Up’ runs for customers.  Soon we were enjoying a wonderful glass of wine and a delicious dinner.  The comfortable ambiance Jeff and Dayle have created in the Blend Wine Shop with their genuine, friendly nature made this a remarkable evening.  No matter what your experience with wine may be, I strongly recommend that you stop in for a relaxing and enjoyable visit.  Phone is 253-884-9688 or follow them on facebook.
